Katy's Pocknall Wins Third TGA South Mid-Am

SAN ANTONIO—David Pocknall shot a final round 65 at The Club at Sonterra’s North Course to win his third Texas Golf Association South Region Mid-Amateur Championship. A paleontologist from Katy, Pocknall erased a five-shot deficit by 36-hole leader Randy Lance with birdies on the third, fifth and sixth holes to make the turn at 3-under 33.
